What is the operating voltage for ADC converter? test Issue Date:2015-02-04
In the NuMicro™ family, the power distribution is divided into three segments:
1. Analog power from AVDD and AVSS provides the power for analog components operation;
2. Digital power from VDD and VSS supplies the power to the internal regulator with a fixed 1.8 V power for digital operation and I/O pins. (Except NUC100/120 AN, NUC100/120 BN and NUC130/140 CN and M051 AN Series will be 2.5V.)
3. USB transceiver power from VBUS offers the power for operating the USB transceiver (for NuMicro™ USB Series only).
The operating voltage for ADC converter is 0 ~ VREF. Analog power (AVDD) should be the same voltage level of the digital power (VDD), otherwise the leakage occurs.
Below figure is an example for the power architecture of NUC122 Series.
