Can PWM clock frequency exceed the maximum system frequency? Issue Date:2015-04-01
For some NuMicro™ Cortex-M series chips, such as M451/NUC131/M0518 series, the PWM clock frequency can be set to twice the CPU operating frequency (HCLK).
In M451 series, for example, referring to the following PWM block diagram, the PWM clock frequency can be set to twice the HCLK frequency by setting HCLKSEL (CLK_CLKSEL [2: 0]), HCLKDIV (CLK_CLKDIV0 [3: 0]) and PWMnSEL (CLK_SEL2 [N]).
