The KA49522A is a battery monitoring IC including high resolution ADC and correctly measure battery cell voltage and current. Host processor read the value of battery voltage, current and status through SPI of the KA49522A. For enhanced reliability, the safety diagnosis functions are improved by integrating FET turn off for abnormal detection. The KA49522A is a battery monitoring IC that measures up to 22 series connected battery cells and support maximum supply voltage 110v. The KA49522A is suitable for battery system of large size e-bikes, UPS and energy storage system.
